A Pear in a Mezcal Fig Sour Cocktail Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Doña Vega Mezcal

  • 1 oz pear juice

  • ¾ oz lemon juice

  • ½ oz fig jam

  • ½ oz simple syrup

  • 1 oz aquafaba (or egg white)

  • Cinnamon stick and pear slice (for garnish)


Directions:


  1. Add the mezcal, pear juice, lemon juice, fig jam, simple syrup, and aquafaba to a cocktail shaker.

  2. Dry shake (no ice) vigorously for about 15 seconds to create froth.

  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well chilled.

  4. Strain into a coupe or rocks glass.

  5. Garnish with a slice of pear and a sprinkle of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick.
